Paul Odekerken
Paul Odekerken studied at the Jan van Eyck academy of art in Maastricht, the
Netherlands. Originally starting with painting he now prefers to work with
materials with more structure such as bronze and ceramic. His work is known
all over the world. The specific signature of Paul is very similar to the style of
Gutzz, pure, simple but on the other hand exclusive and original.
BOCA
Paul has lived for a while in Brasil and his inspiration for this object is found in this
country as well as the name, Boca (mouth). Words out of your mouth, they can be
beautiful as well as rude. Think before you speak, don’t think black, don’t think white,
think and speak in black & white.
